Summertime

And the livin’ is easy.

It’s been hectic time in the Office and we have so much to talk about this time. Some of this stuff you may already know through the Facebook event, but here it is just to make sure.

First of all we are happy to announce that the registration for the event will open on March 31st at 9am UTC +3 (that’s Finnish time for those of you who are not fluent with time zones). Be ready girls and boys, there are only 90 slots available. Boogiefee of 75€ must be paid when you register. You can find the link to the registration system under Registration. We also added some info on facilities under the facilities page, check out the location map, accommodation possibilities etc. We are working on hotel/hostel deals et cetera for you guys and tents are always a good option on a palmy Finnish summer night.

Last couple of weeks have been super super cool as our sponsor deals have started to roll in. We <3 our sponsors and apparently they <3 us too… We are happy to tell that we are continuing our cooperation with Skydive Wings, Parasale and Performance Designs. You guys have been with us for a long time, thanks! The guys from PD are going to be present at the boogie so reserve some time for those demo canopies! Another old favorite is Helsingin Kalasavustamo, yummu yummies to be expected this year too. Then some exciting noobs for our boogie: Sonic Flywear (yay!), Airtec (wuhuu!), Larsen&Brusgaard (\o/) and Prestige (cool!). The peeps from Sonic and Airtec are also coming to Utti. In addition to this being the coolest boogie ever, there are going to be some mad prices in the yearly raffle!

Our organizer list is also starting to look pretty exciting! We are happy to welcome back Mr. Andrew Lovemore and his awesome coaching and video making skills. Andy will be doing some one-on-one coaching at the boogie, so if you are interested send us an email to book some slots with him. In addition to Andy we have also confirmed a completely new addition to our organizer list, a huge boogie welcome for Kristin Karthum Hansen. This Norwegian freefly gal is part of Serenity Freefly and she was one of those 41 super women who last year made the new women’s world record. Hmmm, we already have three of the girls booked, maybe we could get the other 38 too? And let’s not forget Kim Törnwall and Ari Inki, our last year’s popularity competition winners! Will they take the honor this year too?

So much to talk about so little time. This is all we have time for today, we have plans to execute. This year we might have something completely new for the boogie … but that’s another day and another blog post ;)
